Due to take part in the 2021 London to Brighton Veteran Car Run, two weeks before the event the owner was test driving it when he was unfortunately driven into by a large white van. This caused extensive damage to the front guard and as well as damage to the steering box. After an emergency call to our Workshop and Restoration Centre, the vehicle was trailered in, and a temporary repair was carried out to the front guard. The steering box was more challenging, necessitating specialist work to allow the vehicle to successfully complete the run. Thanks to the speedy and talented work of our Workshop and Restoration Centre team, the owner was able to participate and complete the London to Brighton Run! He has now returned the vehicle to us to complete the repairs. Permanent reinstatement of the guard was undertaken by our Body Shop and sprayed in our Paint Shop.
