A Christmas Message from our CEO

19th Dec 2024

When I reflect on such a busy and hugely successful year for Haynes Motor Museum, I return each time to one simple fact: At the centre of all our achievements is our team of Staff, Volunteers and Trustees. Their dedication and commitment to our charitable aims and our visitor experience is both humbling and inspiring in equal measure. Thank you to you all.

On behalf of the entire Museum team, I would like to wish a very Merry Christmas to all our visitors and thank you for your support throughout 2024. Whether you visited the Museum to discover and explore our wonderful Collection, attended one of our regular events such as the Haynes Breakfast Club, Car Boot Sales or our annual Autojumble, participated in one of the hundreds of corporate and private events held over the past 12 months, enjoyed a pitstop in Café 750, bought from our shop, either in person or online, entrusted our skilled team at Haynes Heritage Engineering to carry out work on your classic car, or simply engaged with us on social media, your support is hugely appreciated.

Those funds generated have enabled us to deliver throughout 2024 on so many valuable projects in support of the charity. Thank you, we are incredibly grateful. With ambitious plans for 2025, including the launch of several new exhibitions, exciting developments for our education and outreach programme, the inaugural John Haynes Classic car show (Sunday 7th September 2025 – save the date!), and more talented people joining the team early in the New Year, the next twelve months promise to be equally busy and I look forward to them with enthusiasm and optimism, and invite you all to join us on the journey.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
