Haynes Motor Museum is an independent, UK registered charitable organisation formed to look after the wonderful collection of vehicles, automobilia, library and archive established by John H. Haynes OBE.
The Museum seeks to preserve and restore motor cars, motorcycles and other motor vehicles as well as educate our visitors on this important and fascinating subject.
So, how can you help the Museum?
Financial donations
We do hope that you have thoroughly enjoyed your visit to the Museum and have discovered more about motoring history. Our work at the Museum has no end; funds will always be needed to maintain our collection, the buildings which house it, to plan for the future and ensure it will remain available for future generations to enjoy.
Any financial donation you are able to make, large or small, will help.
Donations of exhibits
You might be considering donating a vehicle or motoring-related object and we will be happy to discuss this with you. Please note, however, that we cannot promise to accept what may be offered to us and our policy is to avoid accepting items on loan or with restrictive covenants.
Volunteering
Our Museum very much relies upon its dedicated team of volunteers, many of whom have been with us for several years.
Being a Volunteer can be hard work, but also fun and rewarding. Opportunities to help the Museum include speaking with our visitors, helping with events, maintaining vehicles, constructing displays and behind the scenes processes such as research, accessioning, cataloguing and archiving.
