As well as being the motoring mecca for the die-hard enthusiast, the Haynes Motor Museum also takes family fun very seriously! We appreciate that entertaining a toddler requires just as much thought as entertaining a teenager.

We know that a happy baby and toddler mean happy parents and grandparents. Whether you are visiting from afar or a regular local, you can enjoy strolling around the Museum or sitting with friends drinking a coffee while your children play in safety. 

Children's Outdoor Play Area– Haynes Motorland.

  • Adventure climbing frame
  • Coin-operated junior go-karts (change machine onsite)
  • Interactive garage and mini road system with ride-on cars, motorcycle rocker, functional AA and telephone boxes, and air and water depot
  • Themed Play 
  • Towers including a double-decker bus, camper van, ice-cream van and jeep
  • Construction Zone with Super Diggers (a small additional charge applies with contactless payment) and themed play towers including excavator, dumper and digger

. Let the little ones drive themselves around the Museum in our Little Tike cars, giving you time to enjoy the exhibits! 

There is plenty to keep the whole family entertained from learning how a car works to having fun with and brass rubbings. There’s also Haynes Motorland, a fantastic outside playground; with go-karts, an interactive garage and mini road system. 

Pass on your knowledge and stories of motoring past and present; whether it’s the Memory Lane exhibition, Wheels Around the World, Minis and Micros, or Great British Marques, there is sure to be a vehicle that either you or your parents owned in years gone by.
