There was a time when ‘Made in Britain' really meant something in the world of motor car manufacturing. Though well-known marques from exciting and glamorous days gone by still exist, what made them truly great is now somewhat lost in the midst of time.

Collected together in this display are some of the greatest products in British motoring; Jaguar’s XK 120 and E Type, Jensen’s Interceptor, Lotus’ Elan and Aston Martin’s DB2/4.

British motor manufacturing - cars and motorcycles - is represented not just here, but throughout the Museum’s collection.
