Wrens Society celebrate their 100th anniversary at the Museum

1st May 2017

We were delighted to welcome the Wrens Society who celebrated their 100th Anniversary at the Museum last week. The ladies were welcomed into our reception foyer by our friendly Hospitality Team who were armed with trays of freshly poured, chilled bubbly. The ladies were first entertained by a delightful Harpist performance as the sun set over Cadbury Hill in the distance. Before taking their seats for dinner the guests had the fantastic opportunity of a private viewing of the Red Room exhibition. A delicious 3 course silver service dinner followed.

Later in the evening entertainment was provided by a Drag Artist – Martha D’Arthur who performs all over the country especially in Brighton and London. A stunning performance of strong vocals and good humour got many of the ladies up on their feet. Delicious food, consummate service, convivial company, and wonderful entertainment – a perfect evening.
