Discovery Communications has recently announced that Edd China will no longer be appearing in its popular ‘Wheeler Dealers’ show.  In 2013 the Museum was thrilled to be asked to provide from its collection the 1903 Darracq rear-entrance tonneau to enable the show to mark its 100^th car.  Both Edd and co-host Mike Brewer were filmed driving the car at the Museum before they took it away to carry out some light restoration work on it.  The idea was to drive the car in the 2013 London to Brighton Veteran Car Run; the chaps succeeded in doing this and completed the 60 mile journey.  The Darracq has taken part in the London to Brighton since, driven by the Museum’s CEO Chris Haynes, and can be seen in our ‘Veteran and Vintage’ display.

Haynes International Motor Museum wishes Edd all the best for the future.  Mike Brewer and the new host Ant Anstead will be back with a 14^th season of ‘Wheeler Dealers’ later in 2017.
