Soft tops down as we signal the start of Spring
We're gearing up for the spring season in traditional automotive style by sliding open sunroofs and folding down soft tops across our priceless car collection. Every year at the beginning of April we begin the time-consuming tradition which marks the official start of spring. It takes our team of volunteers up to 24 hours to complete the task which involves more than a third of our 300-strong vehicle collection.
“For some museums and collections spring traditionally begins when they put their clocks forward, but for us it’s always been the unwinding of sunroofs and the opening up of soft tops,” said spokesman Lars Loopif.
“What better way to mark the end of winter than by joining car owners across the country in this age-old signal of warmer weather and longer days ahead?” he added.
