Pre-war 1910 Mercedes 250 Advance running again after restoration work
This extremely rare 1910 Mercedes 250 Advance 4 seat tourer is homeward bound after a short stint in the Haynes International Motor Museum Workshop & Restoration Centre.
Owned by a private client, it came into the Workshop & Restoration Centre as a non-runner. Following thorough investigation work, the team reset the ignition timing that was found to be 180 degrees out and checked and reset the carburettor.
“One of the greatest pleasures about working in the Workshop & Restoration Centre is seeing stunning veteran cars such as this one successfully running once again and being enjoyed by their owners” said Bradley Mauger, Workshop & Restoration Centre Manager.
