The Discovery event was a great success this year, launched for February half term, continued for Whitsun holidays; and Wednesday’s throughout the summer.  Visitors accepted the Haynes Discovery Mission at reception and started on their way as newly appointed amateur detectives.  Upon completing their first task of working out the contents of one of mysterious red bags, the investigators were off on their first mission.  Mission HQ had the answers and the successful detectives received their rewards from there. 

With ten missions to complete and aimed at families, fun was had by all. Parent/grandparent and children both alike had a pleasurable time whilst exploring the Museum and getting hands on with some artefacts from our motoring past and present.
