Museum in Motion
The Curator and many of the Museum’s volunteer force worked hard last week towards getting the Museum In Motion (MIM) vehicles ready for the last of 4 Museum in Motion events which have been held this year. The show on Saturday (29th October) included 10 cars and two motorcycles was a great success. The vehicles were tested to ensure all went well during the day. Staff were there to provide information about them and in some cases to allow visitors to sit in them. It was a particular pleasure to see our 1927 Triumph Model W motorcycle run for the first time in many years; credit for this must go to volunteers Ian Reed and Dave Flanagan who spent a lot of time carefully preparing the bike for its run.
