2010 was certainly a season for Mark Webber, his fans and followers to remember.  We are delighted to have on display Mark’s 2010 Red Bull Racing RB6 F1 car. The exhibition opened on the 5^th March 2016 and focuses on the four wins that made the year so special for him.  On the 1^st June 2016 Mark Webber officially opened the exhibition and in conjunction with his visit to the Museum we partnered with the Blackmore Vale Media and ran a competition to design the Formula 1 car of 2050.  As our guest of honour at the prize giving after which there was an interview and answer (Q & A) session and finally a limited book signing with Mark.

The competition winners were: Amy Ayling – 0 to 7 years, Gillen Minchin – 8 to 16 years and Dan Hopkins – 17 & overs.  Each winner received a signed photograph of Mark, a copy of his latest book and access to a private buffet lunch with Mark.  The day was a great success with over 300 people attending the Q&A session and Mark signed over 100 books.
