Education Officer, Caroline Coombes is putting the final touches to a work experience programme for students in 2017
Work experience is taken extremely seriously at the Museum and students are given a week or two-week experience that hopefully, they will remember for years to come. Not just working in one department, we aim to provide experience in all different areas within the Museum. They would start by helping to look after the stunning collection of vehicles on display, working alongside volunteers, to assisting in the Museum Gift Shop, Café 750 and Venue Hire area, or working on projects with the Marketing or Curatorial department. They may even possibly attempt to build a go-kart in the Museum workshop which could then be tried out on the test circuit. Our aim is to give students a work experience placement that will be both challenging and rewarding. Places are limited but anyone wishing to apply should contact Education Officer, Caroline Coombes on 01963 442797 for more details.
