Today we welcomed BBC Somerset to the Museum to talk to the NHS volunteers about the importance of volunteering and how invaluable they are to organisations. As part of the national effort to deliver the expanded booster programme, the Museum is supporting the NHS as a vaccination centre. At the Museum we're very lucky to have a fantastic team of dedicated and knowledgeable volunteers, who not only add to the customer experience when visiting the Museum but are paramount to the everyday running of it. This in turn helps us reach our charitable objectives such as the preservation and conservation of the Museum Collection for future generations to enjoy and learn from.
