Supporting the next generation of talented and skilled engineers

5th Jul 2021

A huge congratulations to Matt Garside who has successfully passed his End Point Assessment for his Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (Light Vehicle) Apprenticeship.

Working with the team in the Museum’s Workshop and Restoration Centre, Matt has gained extensive experience across a broad range of vehicles from an Aston Martin DB9 to a Volkswagen Polo. Although his final assessments at Bridgewater and Taunton College were delayed by a year due to the global pandemic, Matt is now a fully qualified Technician and will continue developing his career with the team at the Workshop and Restoration Centre.

Chris Scudds CEO of Haynes International Motor Museum commented,

Matt should be rightly proud of all he has achieved. On behalf of the whole Museum, I would like to warmly congratulate him. As a charity we are committed to supporting education and development within the Heritage Engineering sector and Matt is at the vanguard of our next generation of highly talented and skilled engineers. I look forward to seeing his career here go from strength to strength.”
