Mankind is naturally competitive and so it is no surprise that soon after the birth of the motor car we started racing against one another in them. 

We have on display a range of competition cars of all shapes and sizes taking into account the sport for which they were designed. Marques including Jaguar, Lotus, Elva, TVR and Ferrari are all here.

Fittingly, this Hall was opened by Sir Stirling Moss in 1997.
