Museum adds more than five hundred new car parking spaces
In line with the Museum's strategic plans, the Haynes International Motor Museum has recently completed a significant project to provide more than five hundred additional car parking spaces. The car park incorporates a host of additional infrastructure additions such as electric vehicle charging stations, power and data points.
The new facility will provide much needed year round parking for both regular Museum visitors and guests attending events within the Museum’s events spaces, as well as offering fitting space to host increasingly popular Haynes Breakfast Clubs. These monthly car meets attract cars from all corners of the South West and beyond and the improvements support the provision of an increased outside catering offering during these events. There is also now a dedicated space for car clubs to visit and display their vehicles in pride of place next to the Museum.
Chris Haynes, Chairman of the Trustees commented
“This new car parking space is part of the essential infrastructure required to support future growth of the Museum and secure its future well into the twenty first century”
Chris Scudds Chief Executive Officer added
“We took the decision to commence this project during the first lockdown back in March and I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all those involved in delivering it to such a high quality during such a challenging year”.
