Key Stage 1 & 2

A warm welcome awaits for young learners as we explore the early days of motorised transport to the modern day. We’ll discover two great automotive pioneers (Karl Benz and Henry Ford) and how they got the world on wheels.

Along the way there will be opportunities to sit in some cars for fun photographs.

We’ll return to our Education Room to be inspired by the assembly line system perfected by Henry Ford. In this workshop children will create their own assembly line to ‘manufacture’ cars as quickly and efficiently as they can.
Teamwork, problem solving and a little bit of competition as we set them on their way to understanding how cars are produced.

Your day with us will also have free time for your own activities and exploration.

We’re able to welcome group sizes from 5 to 75 children.
